Reservation Rules
1. During check-in time all guest will have to produce an identity card (Voter Identity
card / Passport / Driving License/Photo ID card issued by Central / State Govt. for
their employees etc.) and Valid Passport and Visa for Foreign Nationals upon Arrival.
in original as mentioned in reservation slip. The guest will also record relationship
with accompanying members during check in.
2. Two children below 8-years of age may stay with parents without additional room
tariff subject to size of the room booked. Extra bed is available on additional payment,
subject to availability of space in room.
Tax Rules
1. GST-5% with Full ITC (When Room rent between Re. 1/- to Rs. 7500/- per day)
2. GST-18% with Full ITC (When Room rent is above Rs. 7,500/- per day, As per
notification with effect from 22/09/2025.
3. Service Charge 5% (Optional) on Room Rent to be paid on spot during check-out
4. In terms of Clause 5(e) of Schedule II of the CGST Act, 2017, GST is applicable on
the forfeited advance.
5. GST payable on spot if not paid during booking
Extra Charges
1. Extra Person Charges 20 % of the room rent payable on spot .
2. Extra Cot Charges 30 % of the room rent payable on spot.
3. Tariff for extra person in double / triple bedrooms:
4. 30% of tariff for extra bed/Mattress (subject to availability)
5. 20% of tariff for extra person without extra bed.
Cancellation Policy
1. Reservation may be cancelled by the guest through this portal (only for online
payments made by an Indian citizen). The amount of refund will be reversed to the
debit/credit card/bank account after deducting the cancellation charges as per policy.
2. For part cancellation, normal refund rules will apply.
3. Refund admissible only upon production of the original reservation slip.
4. In the event of selection of an incorrect room type or date, the normal cancellation
rules shall apply.

Cancellation Rules of Hotel Simla, West Bengal:
Cancellation charge within 48 hours 100%
Cancellation charge beyond 48 – 144 Hrs (3-6 days) 50%
Cancellation charge beyond 144 – 360 Hrs (7-15 days) 30%
Cancellation charge beyond 360 -720Hrs (16-30 days) 20%
Cancellation charge beyond 720 hrs (30 days) 10%
1. No refunds for unused nights or early check-out.
2. No refunds for cancellation during peak season period.
3. No refund in case the booking is cancelled due to cancellation of flights/ trains/ ferries
or road blocks due to climatic changes/natural calamities/political disturbances, etc.
4. The cancellation policy for some rates/offers and room category may differ from the
standard cancellation policy of the hotel.
Early Arrivals and Late Departures
If you expect to arrive early in the day and would like immediate access to your room, we
recommend booking the room for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. Similarly,
for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access to your guest room
until you depart. If you choose not to reserve, we will be glad to store your luggage while you
relax in the lobby.
Damage Indemnity
Guest is legally responsible for any damage to room fixtures, furniture’s or specialised equipment.
Hotel has rights to evict guest due to violation of rules (noise, illegal activities, being intox, cated,
behaving aggressively towards staff or other guest.
